MRI Applications Specialist

As the MRI Applications Specialist, you will work with the top cancer centers in North America. You will be involved in innovative development of new products, and have an intimate involvement with the delivery of the highest quality care.
 
Responsibilities
 
The MRI Applications Specialist will be responsible for training clinicians on the setup and use of our equipment, and ensuring the highest level of support to our customers. This role involves travel within North America, at least 70% of the time.
 
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
 
- Demonstration of the Vanguard to prospective customers at luminary sites.
- Presentation of scientific lectures at conferences and customer sites.
- Providing an in depth training program to new users.
- Involvement with internal clinical research.
- Responsible for designing and organizing an international breast MR course.
- Liaising between our customers and our development team.
 
Requirements
 
- MRI technology, physics, medicine or life sciences background.
- Strong influencing skills coupled with excellent relationship building skills.
- Able to motivate others with a positive can-do attitude.
- Able to learn a complex field quickly.
- Valid passport and ability to travel within North America.
- Tenacity and drive; ability to persevere through obstacles and barriers.
- Able to effectively communicate customer concerns, suggestions for improvement.
- Strong attention to detail.
 
Desired
 
- Experience in medical imaging field, preferably MRI, and breast imaging experience.
- Business degree combined with a relevant technical or science degree.
- MSc, PhD, RT preferred
- Experience training new users of mechanical, electrical and software devices.
- Experience working under FDA/Health Canada regulation in the medical devices industry
