Responsibilities:

· Work with internal design teams, suppliers, manufacturing and major medical OEMs to implement procurement policies and strategies.

· Independently, and with Manufacturing Engineering, resolve supplier issues, such as: quality, repeatability, capability, capacity, etc.

· Set-up and maintain material, supplier and planning system data in the MRP/ERP system (NAVISION).

· Plan and purchase material to prevent production shortages and or project delays.

· Plan and purchase services and MRO requirements.

· Negotiate pricing, delivery, lead-time, etc, with suppliers and partners

· Develop, Implement and Support global sourcing and supplier management initiatives

· Work with receiving, finance and suppliers to reconcile discrepancies in receiving and invoicing.

· Develop a strong understanding of RoHS and banned substance criteria and their applicable legislations and act as a subject matter expert for internal teams and/or suppliers needing assistance.

· Track and report on status updates on material compliance of various projects.

· Utilize and maintain the Supplier Selection process.

· Identify, and lead continuous process improvement initiatives.

· Maintain metrics and lead root cause / corrective actions initiatives

Requirements

Technical:

· 5+ yrs procurement experience

· Related Degree, Technical Diploma, or certification

· PMAC designation (preferred)

· Experience with MRP / ERP systems, NAVISION preferred

· Experience in electronic / mechanical product engineering environment.

· Experience in supply chain management

· Demonstrated negotiation skills

Production Technician/Material Handler

Sentinelle Medical is seeking a Production Techinician (focusing on light mechanical manufacturing and material handling) to work in our manufacturing facility. The position involves the assembly of light mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Additionally, the position is responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, raw materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Responsible for filling all material related requisition forms for general inventory and R&D/NPI projects. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary and reporting all materials shortages. Examines, stocks, stores and organizes items in the warehouse accurately. This is a great opportunity to work with a growing team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

Pick and stage raw material orders (from assigned work orders) that are required for production/NPI.
Fill material requisition froms for general inventory and R&D/NPI projects in a prompt and efficient manner.

is well organized and clean, and safety/security measures are being followed.
Record and control movement of inventory, as well as assisting in the general inventory counts as required.

Imaging Physicist

As the Imaging Physicist you will use your in-depth MRI knowledge to improve patient outcomes. You will detect and investigate subtle imaging effects which arise with the latest high-performance coil arrays. The Imaging Physicist plays an important role supporting research and clinical activities at world-renowned centres.

Responsibilities

The Imaging Physicist will:

· Troubleshoot MRI imaging problems and perform root cause analysis.

· Classify problems as originating with manufacturing, design, clinical/workflow or 3rd party problems.

The MRI Applications Specialist will be responsible for training clinicians on the setup and use of our equipment, and ensuring the highest level of support to our customers. This role involves travel within North America, at least 70% of the time.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the product development team at Sentinelle's facility in Toronto.
Liaise with manufacturing subcontractors in support of new products.
Work with manufacturing engineers and technologists to ensure that designs meet manufacturability, serviceability and human interface requirements.
Perform engineering analysis including tolerance studies, interference and motion checks, free body diagrams, engineering calculations, etc.
Initiate and prepare Engineering Change Notices to facilitate the approval and cut-in processes for engineering changes.
Analyze engineering problems and brainstorm solutions to technical challenges in the field of interventional radiology.
Actively contribute to problem solving activities for both early stage projects, and more mature products.
Perform hands-on prototyping and testing activities in Sentinelle’s R&D department.
Interact with customers, vendors and sub-contractors, including occasional travel.
Create and modify solid models and engineering drawings using Solidworks.

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5-10 years experience in electronics and mechanical engineering environment.
2-3 Years experience with Solidworks is required.
Product development experience in medical devices is highly desired.
Experience in the medical imaging field preferred.
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.

Must be a highly motivated self starter.
Experience working with vendors, customers and sub-contractors.
Working knowledge of IEC60601 is a valuable asset.

Manufacturing Engineer - Electrical

As the Manufacturing Engineer – Electrical, you will drive efforts on the electrical manufacturing production line, and optimize and improve the manufacturing electrical process. Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Engineer – Electrical will develop new and improve existing process, product and equipment quality, capability, capacity, safety and cost, and will ensure product and process quality for the manufacturing and development of new products. You will plan, design, and maintain a stable, qualified manufacturing process through the design of fixtures, acquisition of tooling, and using quality tools to optimize process capability; and will resolve product and process non-conformances and resolution through root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Field Service Representative

As the Field Service Representative you will have the opportunity to train hospitals and clinics in the use of Sentinelle equipment. You will work independently and interface directly with the customer in helping to promote our products; and obtain customer feedback for potential product updates. You will also have the opportunity to travel within North America.

Responsibilities

Perform and document: installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on medical systems involving mechanical, electrical, and software components.
Provide frequent and clear communication with customers as well as MRI OEMs in order to facilitate timely installations as well as on-going safe and effective use of our systems.
Adhere to standard operating procedures, company policies, ethical conduct and safe work practices.
Manage an individual schedule for travel and on-site visit times; planning visits to customer sites in the most efficient and effective manner.
Manage assigned service tool kits and spare parts inventory.
Provide timely recording of data into the service database and report engineering issues to design and manufacturing teams.
Promote service contracts to customers and ensure compliance to agreements.
Communicate regularly with sales and all other internal departments to promote cross-departmental collaboration.
Travel more than 50% of the time.
